A "tragicomic catharsis" filled with moments of laughter and unapologetic cringe.
“Don’t dream - you will nightmare” is a surreal
take on capitalism and the housing crisis explored through AD-mania. Through the neurospicy eyes of A, B and C, the use of different languages, goofy props and moments of unapologetic cringe, the audience goes on a tragicomic journey navigating messy lives in contemporary society. Realistic scenes are interspaced with dreams, based on the writer’s actual dreams, in a metatheatrical
comedic dynamic. The dreams add insight into the characters’ emotional turbulence as they know their lives are constantly at risk of changing.
Bananas
keep appearing
out of nowhere and the writer seems to run the show instead of shutting up. So yeah, the show is as bananas as the writer is :)
