WELCOME

Homing Bird is an LGBTQIA+ community-interest theatre company - examining the line between comedy-drama and the tragicomic, with the aim of bringing theatre to underrepresented audiences in the form of authentic queer experiences and inclusive workshops. We want our productions to celebrate diversity and contribute to a sense of togetherness.

We strive to take audiences to places they've not been before, using physical theatre, symbolism and deconstructed narratives to normalise queer relationships in universal stories.
Our work should feel like flying home: a brave, challenging journey moving towards a comforting and fun destination.
We aim to start conversations and let ideas take flight.
